A couple of nice shots sent in by regular vespamore contributor, Rod Gillan from Portstewart, Northern Ireland of his beautiful unrestored Rally 200 in a friend's tool shed.
Made sense to quote Neil Hannon for the title of this post - also hailing from Northern Ireland and singer from the excellent Divine Comedy...
Just love this shot taken by Paul in New Zealand...
"On a colourful scooter.
Outside Cafe Divine, located at 53 Hastings Street (on the corner of Hastings St and Emerson St), Napier, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.
Napier is New Zealand's Art Deco City, rebuilt in the style after the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake."
Returned today from a long weekend of camping at Town Farm Campsite in Buckinghamshire. The weather was challenging at times but was pleasantly surprised to see a few classics there; no vespas but some nicely worn bay campers, a split screen bus... and a Triumph Spitfire!
Not sure how much gear you can fit in a Spitfire but an interesting, yet cool choice of vehicle to take camping! Town Farm Campsite is a nice site in the shadow of Ivinghoe Beacon with sweeping views out towards 19th Century English Country House, Mentmore Towers and the surrounding countryside. Fire pits (essential for decent camping) are available to hire with logs available to buy too.
Nice shot sent in by Ed Hulme taken at the Veteran Vespa Club Ashfields rally earlier in July - thanks Ed ; )
If you have any vespa shots you would like to share, you can email me at email@example.com I'm always happy to post decent shots like Ed's Faro Basso image here.
Fantastic panning shot by Sergio Casado who says...
"Always like to try panning technique in the cities since it creates a sense of dynamism and motion. It feels more that you're there, watching the scene yourself."
Indeed Sergio - great capture and muchas gracias for letting me feature this on vespamore ; )
