S.I.P Scootershop - one of the most comprehensive suppliers of classic/modern vespa & lambretta parts and accessories. All round good guys, always accommodating and can't do enough for you, also very cool photography and films www.sip-scootershop.com
Maskes Vespa Klassiekers - for me, the most nicely done vespa workshop and restoration business there is, housed in a beautiful old, former leather factory in Rijen, Holland. Maskes' website, promotion and annual rally are the best I've seen. They have absolutely nailed this side of their business - the photography, workshops, largely original scooters they sell and turn out.. everything they do looks amazing www.maskesvespaklassiekers.nl
Officina Supersprint - Motorcycle filmmakers, a creative collective of riders, lovers and collectors of all things classic - scooters, bikes, cars etc - great photograpy and film-making www.officinasupersprint.it
SIP Scootershop's 'Joyride' around Lake Amersee took place on Saturday just gone - 16th July. Looks like the weather was kind to them on the latest instalment of this yearly event which is open to SIP customers. Starting off at SIP's recently re-located HQ in Landsberg with early arrivals helping themselves to coffee and Danish at the Siperia bar cafe, before departing for a sunny; leisurely, very pleasant circuit of Lake Amersee, of course with a couple of stop-offs for a social and refreshments!
Being an owner myself of an original paint Spanish Motovespa GT160, this earlier late '60s, blue GT160 naturally caught my eye. My later '71 GT160 has the white Rally stripes over it's orange colour..
I can't think of too many other nicer ways to spend a decent warm summer's day - riding a scooter around a Bavarian lake with friends and family, well stocked with coffee, good food and a cheeky beer - good times!
You can buy SIP's Joyride T-shirt (pictured below) on their website via link here
All fotos taken by SIP's Ralf Jodl, check out the full album on the SIP Scootershop Flickr page here plus report on SIP community blog here and vid below..
Some brilliant fotos taken by Ernie Troelf at this event on 9.5.15 to mark the 65th anniversary of vespa production starting at Vespa-Hoffmann. Organised by the Hoffmann-Vespa Friends Rhein-Main and Vespa Veterans Club Germany.

Vielen dank for sharing Ernie ; )
Tuesday was my other half's birthday and being short on time as the day approached, a cake was needed. The good folk at Black Goo in Tring were asked to do the honours and more than delivered as you can see below..!
'minding' the cake
Am always happy to promote decent enterprises and projects here on vespamore (see links column on right) , whether its others' photography, related sites, music etc, or in this case Black Goo's independent cafe bar - generally anything that has had a bit of care, love, design and thought bestowed upon it.. all things that apply to Black Goo which has a nice feeling about it; nicely kitted out from the serving bar made with re-used scaffold boards, the vintage cigarette machine (no longer in use), furniture and lighting to the great food and most importantly excellent coffee..
Black Goo can handle catering for individuals or companies and cake commissions, as well as being a great place for coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea - check them out if you find yourself in Tring, Hertfordshire.
